My Desk in Wageningen

My Desk in Wageningen

This is one of several pictures that are included in a blog post I wrote about the desks I left behind me in 2015.

When you are a digital nomad you move location a lot. Each move changes everything, including the place you sit and work. The blog about the different desks I used in 2015 was my attempt to provide an insight into nomadic living.

When you are a digital nomad, the only home you have is the place where you are presently hanging your hat. Although the work you do may remain the same month after month, the place where you work from varies a lot.

At the start of 2015, I was working from a desk in a room in Stockton on Tees. By the end of the year, I was working from a small plastic table in an apartment in Valencia, Spain. My writing place varied considerably in the the months between.

This picture shows the desk I worked from in a student building in Leaving Wageningen(Netherlands). It was I nice place to work. I could open the window and feel the breeze on my face and anytime I felt like a break I only had to turn my head and look down on the trees.
